Job Title: Structural Analysis Engineer - Remote (Contiguous U.S.)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000/year

Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer with

mandatory ANSYS expertise

and experience in

heavy industry, oil & gas, or large-scale concrete structures . The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background in structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, finite element analysis, and nuclear reactor planning.

Candidates with only telecommunications experience will not be considered.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced degree .

Minimum 5 years of full-time structural analysis/design experience in nuclear, heavy industry, or oil & gas.

Mandatory ANSYS experience - candidates without ANSYS will not be considered.

Proven experience with concrete and steel structural analysis in industrial or nuclear applications.

Familiarity with reactor planning and nuclear facility design principles.

Working knowledge of design codes: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual, Seismic Design Manual.

Experience with SAP2000 and SASSI .

PE license strongly .

Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

No telecommunications-only background.

Adherence to safety culture and quality assurance standards (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, NQA-1).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform linear and nonlinear structural analyses of Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures using ANSYS.

Conduct analysis and design of concrete, steel, and foundation systems for nuclear reactors.

Support reactor planning and structural evaluation studies.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants to resolve technical problems.

Develop requirements documents, design specifications, reports, and technical studies.

Facilitate stakeholder consensus and ensure project objectives are met.

Interact with contractors and regulatory bodies as required.

Programming experience in Python or Matlab
