Job Title: General Maintenance Worker/Custodian

Department: Store Operations

Minimum Pay: Based on experience

Job Summary:

Maintain and clean Travel Center facility and grounds.

Responsibilities

*Work cooperatively and accept direction from supervisors.

*Interact appropriately with customers and staff.

*Follow all safety policies and procedures.

*Collect and remove all trash.

*Sweep and mop floors and rugs.

*Clean and disinfect bathrooms and showers and restock supplies.

*Keep entrances clean and neatly presented, clean entrance doors regularly.

*Keep sidewalks, parking lot, fueling and parking areas and outside perimeter policed of trash and litter.

*Keep gas pumps clean and supplies fully stocked. Change filters, nozzles, scuffs and splashes on an “as needed” basis.

*keep storage rooms clean and free of clutter.

*Perform facility maintenance work as requested including, but not limited to: grounds maintenance, basic or light duty plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.

*Assist in store operations on an “as needed” basis.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of to be considered for this position.
• Basic and mathematical skills.
• Ability to Multi-task, perform repeated bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
• Must be able to reliably report to work on time, as scheduled.
