Job Title: Stock Control and Logistics Co-ordinator
Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester.

\n Our client is a leading independent Freight Forwarder now looking for a Stock Control and Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team in Manchester

\n Key Responsibilities
\n * Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, utilise WMS for picking and inventory.
\n * Order Management: Process purchase orders, manage customer details, and track shipments and deliveries.
\n * Logistics Coordination: Plan and schedule transportation of goods, manage shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
\n * Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers and negotiate beneficial deals for transport and services.
\n * Client Relations: Liaise with Clients and build strong relationships.
\n Key Skills and Qualifications
\n * Technical Skills:
\n Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Access Delta / Clarus), data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
\n * Soft Skills:
\n * Organisation: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
\n * Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal teams and external vendors.
\n * Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse situations, resolve discrepancies, and suggest process improvements.
\n * Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
\n * Experience & Education:
\n * Proven work experience in stock management, supply chain, or logistics.
\n * Familiarity with supply chain best practices.
