Static maintenance engineer Hammersmith

M&E Static Engineer – Commercial (Hammersmith Area) - JOB 2 



Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Location: Hammersmith, London

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 – 28 days holiday

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Team Size: Sole engineer on-site

Call-Out: Not required



Role Overview



We are looking for a competent and self-sufficient M&E Static Engineer for a newly refurbished commercial property in the Hammersmith area. Ideal candidates will have both mechanical and electrical experience, though a strong background in either will be considered. As the sole engineer on-site, a high level of autonomy, organisation, and client communication is essential.



Key Responsibilities



Full ownership of PPM and reactive maintenance (HVAC, lighting, emergency systems, etc.)

Basic fault-finding, repairs, and compliance checks on mechanical and electrical systems

Engage confidently with the client to ensure service levels are met or exceeded

Complete all reporting using tablets/laptops (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

Maintain plant rooms and associated equipment in excellent condition

Requirements



Dual-skilled (mechanical/electrical) , though single discipline considered

Experience in commercial buildings (preferably post-refurbishment)

Technically competent with good IT/reporting skills

Excellent time management and reliability

Proactive and capable of working independently
