Stamping Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor must have metal stamping background as well as overseeing a metal stamping presses.
Base Salary+ Eligible for overtime after 40 hours. We are hiring for 2nd shift- 2PM to 10 PM.
Must be ;hands on, result oriented, problem solver and reduce time on changeovers.
Proven track record a must.
Responsibilities' & Duties • Ensure the daily performance of the required production. • Keep machines, complementary devices and tools always operative. • Make sure that every operator is aware of the responsibility that his job entails, as well as the quality of the product, the order and the cleanliness, verifying its compliance. Perform random checks on operators, if necessary. • Control technical documentation.
• Collaborate in the training of operators, recognizing the needs.
• Intervene in breakdowns, taking care of their effective resolution.
• Inform the Area Leader about the production anomalies.
• To know and comply with the Quality Systems in Environmental Management (EMS), Health and Safety and the internal rules of the Company.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, as well as the Company's institutional rules and policies, with suppliers and external bodies, ensuring due ethical behavior in the relationship with business partners, as well as compliance with established standards, and ensuring the company's equity Company.
Knowledge, Skills (Essential) General - Leadership, teamwork and management skills; - IT Knowledge in terms of Word, Excel, Internet e Electronic Mail.
Specific - Understanding and hands on experience of manufacturing operations in tooling, stamping, and/or welded assembly environment. - Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, analysis, techniques, principles and practices (FMEA, PM Systems, tooling, material flow, pull systems etc.). English Knowledge, Skills (Desirable) General N/A Specific - Basic Knowledge in Maintenance; - Knowledge on the Line process; - Knowledge in kaizen, SOP, Inspection, Inventory, and Control plans procedures
Education & Qualification - Technical training in production, mechanics, electronics or similar Experience & Others • 2 + yrs. of manufacturing related experience with hands on operational knowledge (preferably two (2) years practical experience in automotive industry manufacturing environment) ; • Line Leader experience is mandatory; • Experience working in an organization that has a well-implemented “Safety Culture” is a plus.
