Ford is seeking an experienced integration engineer who will be responsible for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) subsystem device and feature development. This individual will ensure HVAC hardware and firmware are designed, implemented, and tested to meet Ford’s standards for safety and customer experience.
Ford is developing next- integrated thermal systems that manage customer-facing features such as the cabin climate, as well as the thermal needs of powertrain systems like the battery and power electronics. The thermal integration engineer will lead activities to select and introduce new hardware, create or refine new features and functionality, optimize performance and efficiency, and make the system robust and fault-tolerant. This engineer is expected to master the details of the HVAC system by reviewing source code, root-causing issues, and developing solutions to complex problems through hands-on work in the lab or vehicle testing.
