We’re seeking a Staff Accountant who is:

What You’ll Do
- Analyze, review, and reconcile general ledger and internal bank accounts daily.
- Process vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate card statements.
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transactions.
- Assist in month-end close procedures, including posting journal entries, accruals, and producing financial reports.
- Document, test, and maintain internal department procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements for existing procedures.
- Support credit union projects, goals, and initiatives as needed.
- Provide backup support to other accounting staff and management.
What You Bring
- College degree or post-secondary courses in accounting .
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role.
- Experience performing clerical office work.
- Record of high achievement in business, education, or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to use a personal computer; proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and math abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Demonstrated competencies in teamwork, goal , personal accountability, flexibility, self-starting, and appreciating others.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, requiring two days per week in-office.
