Job Title: Sr. Systems Analyst
Location: Remote - Near Green Oaks, IL
Period: 09/23/2024 to 03/23/2025 (Possible extension)
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $50-$55/hour (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
Contract Type: W-2 only
Overview:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for defining, planning, and designing client area application systems requirements for new or modified applications. This role includes the preparation of application system specifications and the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide system performance optimization, maintenance, and production support.
- Refine conceptual system requirements into a technical design consisting of job flows and program specifications.
- Assist in the systems development process, including planning and monitoring development efforts, coordinating activities within other groups, reviewing deliverables, and communicating with management.
- Understand customers' business objectives and system requirements; work closely with customers to determine their strategic information requirements and measure performance against expectations.
- Assist in customer resolution and define implementation activities, assigning individual responsibilities.
- Assume a leadership role in implementation activities, coordinating implementation with other parts of the enterprise, and providing routine status updates to the Project Manager or direct supervisor.
- In specialized systems (e.g., SAP), effectively set options to change the way the program works (configuration responsibilities).
- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and application development.
This role demands a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to work closely with customers to meet their business objectives and system requirements. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in systems development and implementation, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
