We’re seeking a Structural Project Engineer who can support structural design while also helping drive projects forward with strong coordination and accountability. This role blends hands-on engineering analysis with project management responsibilities, ensuring concrete and steel deliverables stay on track from design through field execution. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys technical work but also likes owning schedule, budget, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for concrete systems and structural steel components.
- Lead project coordination activities including tracking deliverables, managing priorities, and maintaining alignment across stakeholders.
- Support QC review of structural calculations, drawings, and design packages to maintain accuracy and constructability.
- Participate in field coordination and inspection support to verify conditions and resolve design-related questions.
- Monitor project budget and schedule performance, escalating risks and supporting corrective action planning.
Qualifications
- Experience using RISA, Enercalc, and SAFE for structural engineering analysis and design.
- Strong understanding of concrete design and ACI requirements.
- Experience supporting structural steel design and coordination.
- Background assisting with QC processes, plan reviews, and engineering documentation.
- Comfortable managing project priorities while balancing technical responsibilities.
- Ability to support field activities, site coordination, and construction-phase problem solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track project budget and schedule.
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
