Were seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to support the development, analysis, and rehabilitation of steel and concrete structures. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex civil and transportation projects in collaboration with DOT agencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design of bridge and transportation structures, including new builds and rehabilitation projects.
- Develop construction documents and calculations for steel and concrete structures, adhering to project and code requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, drafters, and DOT representatives throughout all phases of design.
- Contribute to quality control, project documentation, and design reviews as part of a collaborative engineering team.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required. MS Degree .
- 10+ years of experience in bridge or structural design, preferably on transportation infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with NYDOT or NJDOT standards and specifications.
- Proficiency in OpenBridge, Staad-Pro, and other structural analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete design principles for civil structures.
- PE license required; SE license .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
