Job Description

This Senior Project Engineer will:

Lead capital improvement projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Develop project scope, feasibility studies, and technical documentation for process and facility upgrades.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Oversee contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant project execution.

Utilize mechanical and chemical engineering expertise to design and optimize systems, including pumps, piping, and automation.

Manage project costs, schedules, and risk mitigation plans while delivering regular progress updates to leadership.

Support compliance initiatives and facility safety enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:

Mechanical Engineering degree; Chemical Engineering experience a plus

7+ years in capital project engineering

Skilled in pumps, piping, and process systems

Able to manage projects from concept to commissioning

Hands-on, team-focused leader with strong communication skills

Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
