Sr. Model Based Systems Engineer

TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a Sr. Model Based Systems Engineer to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract.

Responsibilities

• Apply modeling to support a system’s or SoS’ requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.
• Modeling architectures of complex systems.
• Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles; the Systems Modeling (SysML) or Unified Modeling (UML); cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent, which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard- compliant models and diagrams; DoD Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF).
• Professional Engineer License is a plus.
• Must be a United States .
• Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
• Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
