Sr. Mechanical Engineer, P.E.

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, P.E. to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Design and Construction of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems
• Perform routine Quality Control for accuracy of design before submittal milestones
• Identify technologies to improve operations
• Document design narratives & engineering analysis
• Review of submittals and reposing to RFI/RFC's
• Site investigations before starting design phase
• Site visits during construction as directed
• Development of Punch List
• Assisting development of proposals

​Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as Mechanical / Plumbing Lead Engineer
• Full knowledge of current California Title 24 codes end DSA regulations
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Must have expertise in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Energy Pro and Energy Modeling
• Must have CA Professional Engineering (P.E.) Registration
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with DSA
• Must have expertise in using Autodesk Design Software including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360
