We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and optimization of dip molding and dip coating equipment. The candidate must have a deep understanding of equipment and machine design, material handling automation and robotics with strong mechanical engineering principles, team leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex equipment automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technical staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and company goals.
  1. Engineering and Process Development:
  • Oversee the design and development of equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  1. Project Management:
  • Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to meet project objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
  1. Innovation and Technology:
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing techniques, with a strong focus on material handling automation and robotics.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Present technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's ).
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks including PDM Vault and Simulation experience
  • Expertise in dip molding and dip coating processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
