What we are looking for:
A driven and mission-focused Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, Salesforce and Data to impact both ministry and business operations including Salesforce, Enterprise Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence. You will manage a software engineering team, including contractors, in the development of software, database, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with solid experience leading a team of software engineers.
Expectations of this role:
- Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
- Manage and guide software engineering staff and contractors
- Collaborate with Product Delivery Managers, other engineering teams, and leadership
- Create and contribute to technical design documentation
- Ensure development comports with best practices, PFM policies, and IT strategy
- Ensure the use of approved tools, , frameworks, and platforms
- Analyze platforms and tools and make recommendations for improvement
- Help manage hosting environments and use request/incident ticket tracking and project management systems as needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of management experience, 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Solid experience with Salesforce and Data Warehousing a must
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong background in software development, designing data models, data integration, data warehousing, and supporting analytics
- Sound experience with GitHub, code management, merges, and deployments
- Agile-like and Waterfall environment experience
- Experience with CI/CD and Devops processes
- Experience building web applications
- Experience building and using APIs to integrate systems and SaaS environments
- Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Knowledge and practical application of open source solutions is a plus
- This is a remote/work from home position in the US with a 5% travel component and office hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits, on a pro-rated basis. Salary at Prison Fellowship is determined by a variety of factors. For this position, the salary range is projected to be between $113,000 and $130,000.
