The Senior Enterprise Architect provides expert leadership to ACF Tech in advancing enterprise IT governance, strategic planning, and investment oversight. This role ensures technology initiatives are mission-aligned, cost-effective, and compliant with federal IT policies and SDLC best practices. The Senior Enterprise Architect drives enterprise analytics, project management, and architecture frameworks to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and program outcomes. Serving as a trusted advisor to ACF leadership, this role leads modernization initiatives, technology assessments, and governance efforts to optimize IT operations and enable long-term mission success. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic IT Governance & Investment Oversight: Strengthen IT governance, align investments with strategic goals, ensure SDLC compliance, and provide expert advice on architecture strategy and modernization. 
  • Enterprise Analytics & Decision Support: Develop data-driven frameworks and dashboards to guide IT investment decisions and improve operational transparency and service delivery. 
  • Enterprise PMO & Architecture Support: Support the Enterprise PMO in governance and accountability, optimize IT infrastructure, streamline processes, integrate systems, and rationalize IT investments for cost-effectiveness. 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s ). 
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT governance, or large-scale modernization initiatives. 
  • Experience supporting HHS or ACF. 
  • Familiarity with TBM, CPIC, and federal portfolio management frameworks. 
  • Experience in IT modernization, cloud adoption, cybersecurity resilience, and digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, or CB-PMO. 
  • Strong knowledge of federal IT mandates, enterprise architecture frameworks (FEAF, TOGAF, DoDAF), and SDLC best practices. 
  • Expertise in IT governance processes, performance management, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive briefing skills. 
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage competing priorities in a federal environment.
