Responsibilities

Be responsible for the design, delivery, and function of electrical components and PCBA's in residential charging products

Collect and analyze all electrical functionalities required for the product's success

Work with the team to design and produce schematics and PCBA's to meet requirements

Select components based on sound theoretical analysis and/or simulation

Collaborate with validation teams on system/sub-system plans for requirement traceability and conduct comprehensive testing (prototypes & existing products) to ensure adherence to requirements

Analyze test data to identify performance trends and areas for optimization in electrical and power systems.

Work closely with the design team to suggest and implement modifications that improve product performance, durability, and user satisfaction

Create and maintain technical documentation including: schematics, manuals, specifications, test reports, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

5+ years in designing PCBA's and electrical product development

Experience with electrical simulation software

Experience with PCBA design software, preferably Altium

Experience with high speed MCU and MPU board layout

Experience working with high voltage systems and power electronics

Compliance experience with UL/IEEE/SAE standards a plus

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Candidates:

$121,500.00 - $151,900.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
