Sr. Electrical/Electronics Engineer

TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a Sr. Electrical/Electronics Engineer to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract.

Responsibilities

  • Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electric and electronic components and equipment.
  • Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
  • Inspect electric and electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional experience in electrical/electronic design. Preferably for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional Engineer License is a plus.
  • Must be a United States .
  • Must possess an active DOD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
  • Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
