Role Overview

Seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) team. This role focuses on researching, designing, and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions that enhance customer experience, enable innovative digital products, and drive store revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, prototype, and develop AI/ML solutions for personalization and customer intelligence.
• Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
• Perform statistical experiments and analyze model performance post-deployment.
• Analyze and segment structured and unstructured customer data; present insights through effective visualizations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and continuously improve engineering quality and innovation standards.
• Mentor junior data scientists and lead complex project initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in statistical data science, feature engineering, and customer segmentation.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• 4+ years of experience training, evaluating, and deploying ML models.
• Experience productionizing ML workloads in AWS or Azure environments.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks platform.
• Experience building ML models using large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Prior experience leading/mentoring data science teams.
