About the Role
The Sr. Control Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the design of control systems. This includes a working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Industrial Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee development of complete electrical drawing packages using CAD software, such as control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, and loop diagrams, ensuring designs meet applicable standards.
- Develop control systems engineering documentation such as I/O lists, control narratives, cable schedules, and BOMs.
- Design and specify industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
- Select and specify components such as PLC hardware, VFDs, power supplies, etc.
- Participate in QA/QC Testing of Control Panels in our Panel Shop.
- Participate in jobsite and shop visits as required by project scope and department and/or project meetings.
- Consult with clients to conceptualize and deliver success.
- Interact with project managers, project team leads, other discipline leads, clients, contractors and other third parties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree from an accredited university, or commensurate experience.
- PE License . (Control Systems or Electrical)
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in control systems, electrical, or instrumentation design/engineering.
- Familiarity with common control system documents, such as P&IDs, I/O Lists, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Experience with UL508a standard .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Ability to partner with clients, vendors, and other team members to deliver projects.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, teamwork and leadership skills.
