SQA Test Automation Engineer - Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQA Test Automation Engineer to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you'll work closely with product developers to enhance the quality and efficiency of our flagship video software products through test automation and process improvements.
You'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining high-quality standards across our development pipeline, contributing to automated testing strategies while also performing manual validation when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers to design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans
- Develop new automated tests and enhance existing test suites
- Perform manual testing and validation for new features and releases
- Investigate and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve QA effectiveness
- Participate in Agile development workflows as a member of the Scrum team
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Passion for improving product quality through testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong interest in test automation and continuous improvement
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Pytest or similar Python testing frameworks
- Familiarity with test tools such as Selenium, Postman, and Playwright (TypeScript)
- Experience using Jira, Git, and Jenkins in a CI/CD environment
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
- Prior experience developing build, install, testing, or automation tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer-driven environment
- Experience with Playwright (typescript) framework
