Job Title: Sprinkler Fitter – Commercial Construction
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Start Date: Immediate openings available

We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our commercial construction team in Fort Myers, FL. This is a full-time position offering consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to be part of major commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and test fire protection sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.

• Work with rigid steel pipe and operate mechanical/hydraulic threading machines to cut, groove, thread, and assemble piping systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to determine layout and routing.

• Install hangers, supports, valves, and alarm devices to ensure proper system functionality.

• Conduct hydrostatic testing to verify system integrity and compliance.

• Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors to meet project deadlines.

• Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized job site.

• Train and assist apprentices/helpers in proper installation techniques.

• Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems as needed during construction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sprinkler Fitter in commercial construction.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and OSHA safety practices.

• Skilled in rigid pipe installation, mechanical/hydraulic threading, and hydrostatic testing.

• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team environment.
