This positionprovidesthe opportunity to support global business developmentof the VertiGIS solutions portfolioby defining and bringing to life solutions thatdemonstrateourbusiness value.Youllsupport one-to-one and one-to-many interactions, promoting and advising on the value of VertiGISproducts and services over the phone, in the boardroom, and on the big stage! Fundamental to this role is the ability to build applications that show howourtechnology solvesreal world problems starting with the business problem through to the technology solution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and productexpertiseto our sales team, prospective customers, and partners during the sales process
• Create andshowcaseproductdemonstration solutions for prospective customers and partners
• Develop andmaintainan enterprise level demonstration environment that includesoursoftware solutions suiteandEsri technologies
• Coordinate the resolution of technical/product issues that arise during the sales process
• Work with customers and partners to maximize the benefits ofourtechnology
• Translate prospect business requirements into architecture and design specifications that align with VertiGIS and Esris implementation strategies
• Define and craft proof of concept applications based on prospective customer business requirements
• Support and deliver presentations, training, and workshops at marketing events
• Work closely with sales and marketing to define and develop internal and external product solution marketing resources
• Work closely with the products team toidentifyand position key capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop in-depth technical knowledge ofourproducts and their value proposition
• Educate sales and partner teams on the business value ofour productsand GIS enabled architecture and solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a similar or related role
• Experience/aptitude for Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Presales, or Solutions Engineering with a software company
• Experience working with various key stakeholders throughout an organization including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Professional Services
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to present information well to various audiences
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Business analysis or solution architecture experience
• Understanding of geography, GIS, and Esri technology
• Knowledge of the utilities industry would be an asset
• Diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, geography, geomatics, business administration, or related discipline would be an asset
• This position may require travel (primarily in the US).
