Job Title: Solution Architect (Contract)\nLocation: Warwick, UK - Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)\nDay Rate: Market rate - Inside IR35\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the alignment of IT and digital strategy with business objectives. This role will play a key part in shaping enterprise and solution architectures, driving strategic initiatives, and advising senior stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring strong Azure cloud expertise and the ability to operate confidently at senior management level.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nStrategy & Architecture\n\n * Develop and maintain architecture strategies aligned to business goals\n\n * Lead enterprise and solution architecture design using industry-standard models\n\n * Create and present business cases, technology roadmaps, and investment appraisals\n\n * Ensure alignment between business strategy, technology strategy, and transformation initiatives\n\nInformation & Technology Management\n\n * Coordinate information and technology strategies across the organisation\n\n * Promote common and reusable technology approaches where beneficial\n\n * Oversee information management planning, records management, and data governance\n\n * Assess information-related risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation\n\nEmerging Technology & Innovation\n\n * Monitor emerging technologies and assess their impact, risks, and opportunities\n\n * Produce reports and insights to inform future technology direction\n\nBusiness Change & Improvement\n\n * Lead business process improvement initiatives and identify automation opportunities\n\n * Analyse and redesign processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness\n\n * Support continuity management and business resilience planning\n\nStakeholder Engagement\n\n * Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor\n\n * Translate stakeholder strategies into clear plans and deliverables\n\n * Facilitate communication across business and technology teams\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n * 10+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture\n\n * Strong expertise in Azure cloud services\n\n * Proven experience aligning technology strategy with business strategy\n\n * Experience operating at senior management level within complex organisations\n\n * Strong background in enterprise architecture, investment appraisal, and strategic planning\n\n * Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
