This is a customer facing role and you've been in similar type roles previously. This isn’t a slideware architect role.

At Nuvolant, our Solutions Architects don’t just design diagrams — they are customer facing and lead discovery, build proof, and turn complex business technology problems into production-ready solutions.

We partner with businesses to modernize cloud platforms, transform digital workflows, and operationalize AI in ways that produce measurable business outcomes. We run hands-on discovery workshops. We build fast-moving sandboxes and POCs. We deliver real platforms — not science projects.

This role sits at the center of it all: sales, architecture, and delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do

Lead Technical Pre-Sales (and win trust fast)

  • Join strategic sales conversations as the technical lead
  • Run structured discovery workshops with IT and business stakeholders
  • Identify success metrics, constraints, and risks early
  • Turn ambiguity into a clear, phased path forward

Architect Real-World Solutions

Design pragmatic, low-risk architectures across:

  • Cloud migration & modernization (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Platform engineering & IaC
  • ServiceNow automation and digital workflows
  • Data platforms and operational AI/ML
  • Integrations across enterprise systems

Security, compliance, cost, and operability aren’t afterthoughts — they’re built in.

Build Proof, Not Just Proposals

  • Develop intriguing and attention getting proposals
  • Stand up demos and rapid POCs that prove value quickly
  • Immerse yourself in a business to understand their needs and help them realize what could be possible.
  • Connect data ingestion → model inference → workflow automation
  • Translate sandbox wins into scoped production engagements

You’re willing to get your hands dirty. You know that credibility is earned.

Scope, Structure & Set Delivery Up to Win

  • Estimate effort and identify delivery risks
  • Contribute to and/or draft SOWs and technical documents
  • Create clean handoff artifacts: diagrams, runbooks, backlog, acceptance criteria
  • Ensure delivery teams start fast and stay aligned

Elevate the Field

  • Maintain reusable demo environments and playbooks
  • Capture field learnings and feed them back into GTM and delivery
  • Continuously refine how we show value

  • Reusable assets scale across the organization

What You Bring

You've been customer facing but are technical as well as consultative. You enjoy being part of the sales process. You know business realities. You’ve been in front of customers.

  • 5+ years in customer-facing technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or consulting
  • Hands-on public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation), networking, , and cost controls
  • Solid understanding of best practice Cybersecurity and DevSecOps
  • Data & AI literacy: ETL pipelines, feature engineering, model inference, production considerations
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/workflow platforms
  • Practical coding skills (Python, Java, or Node), strong SQL, REST APIs
  • Experience with containers (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes & CI/CD
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — from whiteboard to executive deck

Bonus Points If You’ve

  • Built POCs involving LLMs, NLP, or generative AI
  • Worked in retail, contact centers, financial services, or public sector
  • Held cloud or ServiceNow certifications
  • Spent time in a consulting or SI environment
