​Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician (O&M) to join our growing team in Pittsfield, MA. The Solar Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance and energy production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on solar PV systems.

• Monitor system performance through remote monitoring tools and address alerts or underperformance issues.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, diagnose faults, and replace or repair defective components (e.g., inverters, modules, wiring).

• Document service visits, maintenance logs, and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Conduct system testing and commissioning as required.

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E).

• Assist in the improvement of maintenance procedures and documentation.

• Interface with clients, property owners, and other stakeholders professionally when required
