Solar PV Installers – Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge

The Role
Jark Cambridge are recruiting experienced Solar PV Installers for a commercial project at the Addenbrookes Hospital site in Cambridge. The work involves the installation of solar PV systems across multiple buildings on site.
Although the project is commercial, the work itself is domestic-style in nature – pitched tiled roofs and standard solar array fittings. We are looking for installers who can start quickly and work with minimal supervision.
All buildings are within a five-minute walk of the site welfare compound, which offers free onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of roof hooks and solar brackets on pitched slate/tiled roofs
Working safely on pitched roofs
Installation of Solar DC cabling and optimisers
Termination of DC cables into MC4 connectors (crimping tools provided)
Manual handling and installation of solar panels
Working effectively as part of a professional, safety-focused team
Requirements:
CSCS/ECS Card (Gold card not needed)
Proven experience in solar PV installation (domestic or commercial)
Confident working on pitched roofs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong focus on health and safety compliance
Roofing experience, particularly with solar bracket installation, is an advantage
