Solar Project Manager\n\nAre you seeking a new challenge where you can flex your skills and experience and play your part in developing a department to make your mark on the Energy industry?\n\nDo you want to be part of a multinational organisation dedicated to enriching the personal development and growth of its team members?\n\nIf so, then Solutions30 could be your next big move as we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of solar PV projects across the UK and Ireland.\n\nAs our Solar Project Manager, you will be managing projects from initial design through to commissioning, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. At Solutions 30 we can provide a full turnkey solution managing all works or we may deliver sections of an overall project.\n\nOur Solar Project Manager would also be responsible for:\n\nCoordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project delivery is completed within client expectations.\nDeveloping and maintaining project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and schedules.\nEnsuring compliance with UK planning regulations, grid connection requirements, CDM regulations, and health & safety standards in line with Solutions30 policies.\nMonitoring construction progress, quality control, and technical performance.\nProviding regular project updates and reports to affected stakeholders.\nOverseeing procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost and supplier efficiency, and timely delivery.\nReview and understand technical drawings and make proposed amendments.\nSupporting commissioning, testing, and handover to the client. \n\nWe would welcome applicants with the following:\n\nDemonstrable track record managing solar PV or renewable energy projects in the UK.\nStrong knowledge of solar technology, grid connection processes, and UK regulatory frameworks and power sector.\nProject management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or PMP) desirable.\nExcellent communication, organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.\nWorking knowledge of CDM regulations and HSE requirements.\nProficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools.\nYou will also have a network of relationships that will support in sales growth.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to and stay near project sites when required.
