Job Description

Ecojiva's (EPC) Engineering, Procurement and Construction division is seeking a FIELD Engineer supporting solar, battery, and EV chargers projects design and construction.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for all renewable projects.

Project engineering responsibilities span from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning, requiring coordination with environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers.

A successful candidate will have experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, with knowledge of electrical, structural, civil, and materials engineering disciplines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience coordinating project stakeholders are essential.

Experience managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects is .

Job Overview

This role involves making decisions with significant impact on engineering activities and negotiating with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, and guiding extensive engineering programs with creativity and mature judgment.

Managing complex programs critical to company objectives.

Education and Experience

Master's degree in Energy, Power, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 4 years in Commercial Solar EPC.

4 years of Solar Design experience is mandatory.

2 years of Storage and Battery Implementation experience.

Knowledge of NEC code and NABCEP certification required.

Valid driver’s license for site travel.
