Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Layout and mount hardware on multiple roof types

· Secure and wire solar modules with appropriate mounting hardware

· Wire main service panels to comply N.E.C. and complete solar interconnections

· Document progress and completion of solar projects

· Install and troubleshoot photovoltaic system monitoring

· Other duties as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Reliable and regular attendance required

· Exceptional verbal, and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

· Integrity, honesty, and ability to speak with customers

· Valid CA Driver's license and clean driving record

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

· Working knowledge of electrical codes and the correct way implement it as required by A.H.J.'s

Education and Experience:

· 2+ Years general construction experience (required)

· 2+ Years solar construction experience ()

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hour a week that consists mostly of outdoor work

· Confidently climb up to 40’ ladders

· Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds

· Bend conduit, form pvc pipe and install rigid

· Navigate roofs up to 12:12 pitch

· Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

· Must be able to work in various conditions such as standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting, often for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to work in harsh environments, such as extreme hot and cold, crawl spaces, roofs, extreme heights, etc.·
