Solar Electrician



Location: UK (site-based)

Job Type: Permanent



We are seeking a skilled Solar Electrician to install, test, and commission solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties. The role requires working safely at height, following UK electrical and health & safety regulations, and ensuring high-quality system performance.



Key Responsibilities

Install and connect solar PV systems to the electrical network



*



Wire inverters, batteries, and control systems



*



Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis



*



Ensure compliance with MCS standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements



*



Maintain accurate documentation and provide handover guidance to clients



Requirements



*



Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with solar PV experience



*



Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and MCS standards



*



Ability to work at height and in outdoor environments



*



Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail



*



Full UK driving licence



Desirable Qualifications



*



Level 2/3 Award in Solar PV Installation



*



CSCS/ECS card



*



Working at Height / Manual Handling certification
