A great opportunity for Solar Electricians or subcontractors looking to pick up consistent, well-paid work installing battery storage systems on existing domestic solar PV setups. With up to two jobs per day, this role is perfect for engineers wanting to top up their diary with extra days while still earning excellent rates. Batteries are delivered directly to site, and the contractor will supply basic materials such as cable and isolators, fully reflected in the day rate. Enjoy local work, immediate starts and a straightforward contract setup with ongoing demand.
APM is supporting a rapidly expanding renewables partner with a strong pipeline across Bristol and surrounding areas. With simple job scopes, guaranteed daily opportunities and the backing of a well-organised team, this is an ideal role for experienced Solar Electricians wanting stability without the pressure of full-time commitments. Your role as a Solar Battery Installer will include:
* Installing battery storage systems on existing domestic solar PV systems
* Completing 1-2 installations per day depending on workload
* AC/DC connections, commissioning and system checks
* Local travel across Southampton and surrounding areas
The successful Solar Battery Installer will need:
* Proven experience with Solar PV and Battery Storage installation
* NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing 2391 ()
* Own van, tools and installation materials (cable, isolators, consumables)
* Ability to work independently and deliver clean, compliant installations
