Solar Electrician

Goodco is seeking a skilled Electrician with Solar and Battery Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering clean, code-compliant installations. You should be proficient in interpreting one-line diagrams and CAD plans, experienced in battery storage integration, and capable of managing complex solar electrical setups.
Responsibilities: Read and interpret one-line diagrams and CAD-based system layouts Install and configure solar electrical systems, subpanels (including Hawaiian loops), and battery storage systems Work with a range of systems, including string inverters, SolarEdge, Tesla Powerwall, and Enphase AC systems Perform service and interior subpanel upgrades as required Ensure compliance with NEC ( Electrical Code) and local building codes Maintain company tools, materials, and vehicles in good condition Represent the company professionally to clients and work well within a team Travel to project sites as needed
Requirements: 3+ years of electrical experience, including solar and battery storage installations Hands-on experience with string inverters, SolarEdge systems, Tesla Powerwall, and Enphase AC systems Proficient in reading CAD drawings and one-line diagrams Strong working knowledge of the NEC Experience with subpanel builds and Hawaiian loop configurations Valid drivers license and authorization to work in the U.S. Strong teamwork and communication skills Responsible handling of tools, vehicles, and customer-facing duties
Qualifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification Previous experience in residential and commercial solar + battery projects
