Solar/BESS Engineer

The Engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to engineer/design solar and energy storage solutions in of our Renewable Business Unit.

Responsibilities

Renewable Energy application engineering (Solar & Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS))

Substation application engineering

Perform complex engineering/design calculations specific to discipline (equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, Arc flash, grounding, etc.)

Prepare red-lines / design calculations to produce required drawings (single-line, layouts, plans, etc.)

Prepare required specifications

Interface with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the US

Ability to read and apply applicable codes/standards

Skilled in the use of computer equipment and software

High level of interpersonal skills

Effective analytical skills

Self starter

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an Accredited College or University.

EIT, PE, or the ability to obtain
