In this role, you’ll take the lead on testing and quality assurance for our connected consumer electronics, driving reliable, on-time releases and setting a high bar for product excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality assurance efforts across the entire product stack, emphasizing hardware testing and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and execution strategies.
  • Investigate software bugs and issues in-depth, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Champion testing best practices, driving continuous improvement through innovation and iteration.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, global team environment, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Document and communicate test results and strategies clearly and effectively.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in testing mobile apps and IoT devices
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or software engineering roles, with a focus on connected consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience in building test rigs and conducting test procedures with product hardware.
  • Proficiency in various types of testing, including regression, performance, stress, end-to-end, integration, and security testing.
  • Reside within the Detroit, Michigan area or nearby, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment and regularly commute to our Detroit office.

Compensation Range
Compensation may vary depending on skills and experience.
Base Salary: $79,400- $111,000
