Defines test conditions for given requirements. Designs test cases, creates test scripts and supporting data, working to the specifications provided. Interprets, executes and records test cases in accordance with project test plans. Analyses and reports test activities and results. Identifies and reports issues and risks.

Primary Job Functions:

• The Quality Assurance Engineer will work as a member of Software Development teams to interpret functional requirements, build, and execute manual tests to deliver complex software features & APIs, and support existing products and services.
• This is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent testing, organizational and communication skills.
• Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
• Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
• Recommend design improvements or corrections to Software Engineers throughout the development process.
• Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirements and hardware interface changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience testing software solutions

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

• Experience working in Jira Issue Management Software
• Experience with Zepher Scale Testing Framework in Jira
• Familiar with Testing Automation Processes
