This role is primarily remote, with the expectation that you can attend in-person meetings at our office near Fort Worth approximately 2–4 times per month for leadership alignment, planning sessions, and key project milestones.
You’ll work closely with company leadership and senior engineers to translate ideas into actionable plans, keep projects on track, and ensure clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage software development projects from ideation through delivery and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with leadership to define project goals, scope, timelines, and success criteria
- Coordinate day-to-day work across in-house engineers and third-party development teams
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, task tracking, and documentation
- Facilitate planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and leadership check-ins
- Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively drive resolution
- Ensure clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Help improve internal project management processes and workflows
- Support prioritization and roadmap planning across multiple concurrent initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a software or technology-focused environment
- Proven experience managing web or application development projects
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches)
- Experience working with both in-house and third-party development teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working directly with leadership and executive stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms or ecommerce-focused teams
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP/Laravel, frontend frameworks)
- Experience in startup or fast-growth environments
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, solutions-oriented project manager who takes ownership
- Someone who can bring structure without slowing teams down
- Strong facilitator who can keep meetings productive and outcomes clear
- Comfortable balancing flexibility with accountability
- Able to adapt quickly as priorities evolve
