Software Development Specialist / Professional\n\nLocation: London, Cheltenham, Ipswich, or Manchester (Onsite) \n\nHours: 37.5 hours per week\n\nClearance Requirement: Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking engineers with strong IT and engineering skills to build, design, and secure modern technology platforms. You will work in a software-defined, automation-first environment to iterate fast and deploy at pace. Multiple roles are available across different seniority levels.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOwn and deliver automated engineering platform capabilities in a CI/CD environment.\n\nDesign and evolve CI/CD pipelines and embed Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).\n\nIntegrate security controls into workflows so services are secure by design.\n\nSupport engineering teams, remove manual tasks, and improve platform reliability.\n\nCollaborate across development, security, and operations teams.\n\nWhat You'll Need\n\nWe are looking for a mix of some or all of the following:\n\nDevelopment: Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or C#.
\n\nCloud & Containers: Cloud- platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes/Helm. \n\nCI/CD & IaC: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible. \n\nData & Observability: Database technologies and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
