Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and technically strong Software/Embedded Program Manager to join their rapidly growing global team. In this role, you will be able to work on cutting-edge technologies and experiences that will transform the driving experience. The software PMs will report to the PMO Manager and will be responsible for managing multiple projects and customer interfaces.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and release high-quality software projects on time
- Drive the development and delivery of enabling technologies and innovative customer experiences
- Manage software delivery risks, requirements, and architectural convergence across teams
- Build strong relationships with technical experts, stakeholders, and senior leadership
- Experience in building a PMO and deploying project management processes
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects as the sole owner of all deliverables as well as problems
**Required Skills and Experience:**
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a related industry
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking abilities
- Experience managing firmware suppliers and third-party development partners
- Prior software development and test experience with embedded applications, C/C++, MATLAB, or Python
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid Agile/Waterfall approaches
- Automotive software background and understanding of embedded systems
- PMP Certification is highly desired
- Automotive and ASPICE experience is a plus
- This is a customer-facing role, which requires an appropriate level of presentation skills
**Education:**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline; Master's degree
