As theSoftware Engineering Manager,you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding engineers, ensuring successful project execution, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work with various stakeholders to set priorities, develop schedules, and create an achievable execution strategy for the engineering team to follow. Responsibilities
- Improve existing software development processes and procedures, ensuring consistent standard and best practices across multiple product development initiatives.
- Help create long-term roadmaps while ensuring short-term sprint objectives are met.
- Develop and administer technical training and certification programs to enhance the skills and expertise of the team.
- Work with engineers from other disciplines to develop software requirements and support design artifacts
- Help foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years relevant engineering experience.
- 3+years experience in a technical lead/engineering management position.
- Experience guiding agile teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and automated test.
- Experience with cloud services, such as AWS.
