Soleo Health is seeking a Part-time Full-Stack Software Engineering Intern, ideally a senior-level student or recent graduate, who is passionate about building high-quality web and mobile applications and interested in growing into a potential full-time, permanent role. The position will be hybrid in Chesterfield, MO.
In this position, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy features across the full technology stack while gaining hands-on experience with real-world production systems and modern software engineering practices.
The Position:
The Full Stack Software Engineering Intern supports the design, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications across the full technology stack. This role works closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while gaining hands-on experience with production systems and modern software development practices.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to develop new features and enhance existing functionality.
- Build and maintain front-end web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and responsive design principles.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and data models that support scalable and secure applications.
- Contribute to mobile application development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) by implementing features, resolving defects, and improving performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in alignment with team standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack to improve reliability and performance.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
What You'll Gain:

Schedule:
- 30 hours per week between the hours of 8:30am-5pm
- Hybrid - Chesterfield, MO
- Temp to hire
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with at least one programming such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#
- Familiarity with web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
- Basic experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
- Exposure to mobile application development (e.g., iOS, Android, React , Flutter, or similar)
- Understanding of core software development concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience using Git or another version control system
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
