Position Summary
This position is for a software developer that works on innovative ideas of AI assisted 911 call handling solutions as part of Mira project. The candidate may specifically research topics like suitable AI technologies for non-emergency and emergency calls such as call routing, geofencing management, or data extraction for CAD. Candidates will be working in an agile environment where they are expected to carry out both development and testing.
Responsibilities
- Non-emergency and emergency calls triage and routing: establish learning model to triage incoming calls based on identified keywords and redirecting calls to non-emergency and emergency handlings
- Geofencing management: use AI models to automatically identify certain hotspot and determine a geofence in the area to send out alert
- Data extraction: AI model automatically detects 911 call scenarios and extracts relevant data required to dispatch to CAD
- Develop, design, code, unit test, debug, integrate, document and participate in full life cycle of software development activities based on AGILE principle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-managed proactive work style. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field)
The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
