Position Description: Software Engineer

As a Software Engineering at LayerZero Power Systems, you will develop internal and external programs that aid in mission-critical products such as Static Transfer Switches and Power Distribution Units.

Requirements:

Primary Duties:

• Take full ownership of an assigned project, guiding it from initial concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and support internal software applications that communicate with and control power-related hardware systems.
• Create scripts, utilities, and development tools that improve workflow efficiency and support the software engineering lifecycle.
• Design and implement automated testing solutions to detect firmware issues and help prevent system failures in large-scale data center environments.
• Collaborate in code reviews with full-time engineers to maintain high-quality standards and improve codebase reliability.

Experience & Skills:

• Proficiency in programming with C/C++, Python, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded Linux, or bare-metal development.
• Hands-on hobby or personal project experience in software programming or electronics is strongly .

Education:

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in College, University who is Enrolled in Computer Engineering major.
