Who You Are

Prowess Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer to accelerate the deprecation of each Power Platform Asset and integrate the functionality into the compliance tool, reducing 3+ services to one that must interact to complete compliance.

To be considered for this role, you must reside in the greater Seattle area. This is a full-time role with a duration of 4 – 5 months, and being on-site will be required three (3) days per week. No third-party agencies, please.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Designs secure, reliable, scalable, and sustainable software components and services.
  • Develops and tests well-scoped features with guidance, applying engineering best practices and quality standards.
  • Releases software changes using established engineering processes and learns from operational signals to improve reliability and customer experience.
  • Analyzes product and usage data to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and inform iteration.
  • Collaborates with product managers, designers, researchers, and partner teams to translate customer needs into effective experiences across Windows.
  • Contributes to an inclusive, respectful team environment by welcoming diverse perspectives and sharing knowledge to help the team succeed.
  • Improves skills through feedback, mentoring, and continuous learning, and applies learnings to day-to-day engineering work.

Required Qualifications

  • A deep understanding Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate is required.
  • Experience applying data analysis to product decisions (e.g., experimentation, metrics, telemetry) and incorporating customer insights into iteration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, collaborate effectively with others.

Additional Details

  • The offered pay range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
