Responsibility
As a Software Engineer in Perception Infrastructure, you will be responsible for developing the foundation for the Perception System used on the self-driving vehicle. You will work with the world-class Perception developers and researchers together to improve the overall performance and quality of Perception.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in C++, with a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- BS/MS or Ph.D in Computer Science or a related field
- Open to master new grads/fresh PhD
Experience
- Multi-thread programming
- CPU or GPU performance optimization
- Large-scale system design
- Strong skills in algorithm design and implementation, familiarity with training frameworks such as PyTorch/Caffe/TensorFlow is a plus.
- Understanding of computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, or related knowledge, with practical or research experience in areas such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, or 3D reconstruction is a plus.
- Experience in the autonomous driving domain is
- Knowledge of robotics system (ROS, PCL) is
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 Annually
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on many factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation and this role may be eligible for bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
