Role: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Plano, TX
Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Java-based automation and Selenium to drive quality engineering initiatives for banking applications. The candidate will work closely with development teams to build scalable automation frameworks and ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java & Selenium
Build automated test scripts for UI, API, regression, and integration testing
Work with developers to ensure early defect detection (shift-left testing)
Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure application quality
Identify, log, and track defects through resolution cycles
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git) for continuous testing
Develop test strategies, test plans, and test data for complex banking systems
Support end-to-end automation for banking workflows and applications
Core Tech Stack:
Experience in Java (mandatory).
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver + TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD).
Experience in API automation (REST Assured / Postman).
