Job Title: Software Architect – Expert
HBITS Task Order: HBITS-06-14128
Agency: Workers’ Compensation Board
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – Up to 50% Onsite)
Rate: Depends on experience

Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative supporting the OnBoard modernization program. Involves architecture and development using Azure Cloud, .NET, and PowerBuilder 10.5.

Responsibilities:

• Lead business and technical design meetings
• Document system requirements and architecture
• Develop and test software modules
• Review peer code and test results
• Create and maintain database structures
• Handle helpdesk tickets and provide SME support
• Ensure compliance with state information security and Section 110-a

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience writing PowerBuilder code
• 2 years of experience with PowerBuilder version 10.5
• 4 years of experience in database design and SQL development
• 5 years of experience in gathering requirements and producing design documentation
