The Role

Reporting to the VP FAB Operations & Quality and based in our Chandler, Arizona location. Working with our Fab operations team, s/he will work on Process Engineering for innovative memory products.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Module process ownership: ownership of day-to-day operations, process/equipment monitoring and troubleshooting, sustaining tools to meet tool availability criteria.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem solving tools.
• Drive improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety.

Qualifications & Competencies

• B.S. or higher Degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Fab.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry with Copper & Oxide CMP processes and equipment knowledge.
• Experience in CMP related metrology equipment is strongly desired (NOVA in-situ, UV1280).
• Working experience with CMP process effects and interactions with upstream and downstream processes.
• Experience working with dielectric dry etch process is desired.
• Working experience with SPC/FDC/Defect Control experience, Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and software (JMP).
• Exhibit good and open communication skills; be able to work within cross-functional teams.
