Smart Home Installation Technician

Looking for experienced and inexperienced techs with the ability to learn and work hard in a team environment.

The position is that of an independent contractor, pay will be piece work and will be broken down according to unit count or daily rate which ever is higher.

Requirements:

• Job will require traveling across the country, sometimes for extended periods of time (housing and travel are provided)
• The ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license
• Must have a reliable smartphone
• Exceptional communication skills
• Previous crew lead/management experience is a plus but not required (will train the right person)

Responsibilities:

• Installing, pairing and prepping smart home automation devices to be installed in a commercial application (apartment buildings, new construction, retro fits, student housing, military housing and more)
• Responsible for installing smart locks, thermostats, leak sensors, light switches and more.
• Prior experience with low voltage/access control is highly but not required
