Skilled Welder – MIG / TIG
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour + regular overtime
Overtime Rates:

Time & half (Mon–Sat)

Double time (Sun) — 4 hours overtime on Saturday required to qualify

Key Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and work from detailed engineering drawings
*
Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials
*
Fabricate and weld components to tight tolerances and quality standards
*
Maintain consistent productivity and meet daily/weekly output targets
*
Follow company procedures and comply with all Health & Safety regulations
*
Work collaboratively with team members to complete orders accurately and on time
*
Carry out and record routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
*
Mark up, prep, and assemble component parts as required
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, or Skilled Welder
*
Strong hands-on welding skills (MIG, TIG, and ideally MMA)
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
*
Experience in high-volume fabrication or bespoke/custom fabrication environments
*
Sound understanding of safe welding practices and HSE requirements
*
Formal welding qualifications (coded welder status or equivalent advantageous)
*
Time-served apprenticeship / NVQ / City & Guilds in Welding or Fabrication
